Tea Inspires...

"Surely everyone is aware of the divine pleasures which attend a wintry fireside: candles at four o'clock, warm hearth rugs, tea, a fair tea-maker, shutters closed, curtains flowing in ample draperies to the floor, whilst the wind and rain are raging audibly without."

Thomas De Quincey

Green Mate

— mate tea is prepared from a tree Illex Paraguariensis, cultivated in South America. It is a national drink in Argentina and Paraguay. The ancient legend says this plant was given to an old man by the Goddess of the Moon in gratitude for saving her from a wild jaguar. From this time on people can enjoy a magnificent full taste of this drink. Mate contains a great amount of antioxidants. It calms the nerves and at the same time provides energy and clarity of mind.

Preparation and serving:

Brew about five minutes in a cup. Drink with a special tube that filters the tea-leaf sediment.
